Crazy horse leather is oil-tanned full grain. Every trip darkens and softens it a little more, and small scuffs rub out with your thumb.
The waxed canvas does the same. It creases where you carry it, and a little canvas wax every few years keeps it shrugging off the rain.
Four colors, one build.
No, it is water-repellent. Rain and splashes bead off the waxed canvas, but it is not made to be submerged. If the wax wears thin after a few years, rub in a little canvas wax and it is as good as new.
At 20.5 × 12.6 × 9.1 in (52 × 32 × 23 cm) it fits the standard 22 × 14 × 9 in carry-on size of most US and Canadian airlines. Basic economy fares often allow only a personal item, so check your fare before you fly.
Yes. The lined shoulder strap is adjustable and clips off when you only want to use the handles.

Wipe it with a damp cloth when it needs it. The canvas darkens a little over time, which is part of its character. Rewax it with canvas wax every few years.
A 15-inch laptop fits in the main compartment in a sleeve. There is no separate padded laptop pocket, so I recommend a sleeve.
